The story of "The Matrimony" begins with Shen Junchu, a cinematographer who loses hope and faith in life. One year ago, the love of his life died in a tragic car accident. Junchu witnessed the accident, the wedding ring he was holding slowly falling to the ground. Aided by the servant, Junchu's mother, consumed by superstition, decides to arrange a marriage for him. But Junchu is devastated and despaired, and the damage that was done to him seems beyond repair
